Looking after the cremated
remains. If you are undecided
what should be done with the
cremated remains, we will return
them to our offices a few days
after the service, and retain them
for you whilst you decide. We
always ask the crematorium to
supply a new plastic or cardboard
urn, one that is durable and easily
transportable.

You might consider scattering
them at a favourite beauty spot, at
sea or in a river, in which case
please see www.environmentagency.gov.uk or ask us for
advice. Alternatively you might
consider sending them skyward in
fireworks, having them made into
a synthetic gemstone: or maybe a

appropriate.

We have an extensive range of memorial caskets, urns and
keepsakes, some of which are shown here. To see details of the
full range and sample products, please call in to our office.
Cremated remains can be interred either loose, or in caskets.
M any churchyards and cemeteries will now only allow a loose
interment in a specific garden of remembrance, and some will
allow a bronze plaque to be placed on an adjacent wall.
Where remains can be interred in caskets, or where a new or
existing family grave is opened, maybe in a green burial
ground, we have a range of oak and mahogany caskets in
which family mementoes or items of sentimental value can also
be put.
A memorial stone or tablet can often then be placed on the
grave.
As monumental masons, we also have a full range of
memorials suitable for cemeteries and churchyards. Please
request a brochure for more details, or contact us.
Alternatively, cremated remains can be placed in decorative
urns or keepsakes and kept at home. We have a range of such
items, for the home and the garden, in materials that range
from wood to porcelain, glass to metal and stone to resin.
