Its special design features help make it

incorporated drained and ventilated rebate
which allows free drainage of water and
air circulation, ensuring the maximum
durability for the glazing unit and frame.

Our Ecoplus3 windows & doors
are protected using the OSMO
linseed oil preservation
treatment system. Linseed oil
penetrates deeply into the wood
and has been used for centuries
to protect wood because of
its excellent preservative and
water repelling properties.
The OSMO system is
formulated to combine the
properties of linseed oil with
a modern timber preservative,
giving the best possible
protection to our timber.
Ecoplus3 is then hand painted
with OSMO timber finishes
based on natural plant oils,
such as thistle and sunflower
oils. The finishes rely on the
natural ability of the plant oils
to penetrate deeply into and
bond with the timber surface
and with the linseed base coat,
giving exceptional durability.
Plant oil-based finishes make
maintenance and repainting
of Ecoplus3 incredibly easy as
there is no peeling, cracking or
blistering. Ecoplus3 can be
easily refreshed by applying an
extra coat, without the need
for sanding and laborious
preparation, making it the true
‘low maintenance’ window.
