James Redway Furniture Makers is a small
furniture company located in Woodbury Connecticut. We have been in the business of
building quality, solid cherry, 18th Century style
furniture and 19th Century Shaker furniture
since 1986. We build a variety of tables, small
chests, footstools, step stools and quilt racks All
from solid American Black Cherry. We are well
known for and specialize in the construction of
small side tables. Our Christmas Table is a Connecticut Classic.
All of our furniture is made by hand using classic joinery methods. Table frames, and benches
are made using double pinned mortise and tenon
joinery.

mirror from your digital photos. Simply email us your high resolution image. We will
enhance it in Photoshop, and then print it
on museum quality matt paper, using
archival inks (will last 70 plus years without
fading). We then mount your photo onto a
1/8 inch mirror, boarder the image with
your choice of grosgrain ribbon, cover the
mirror with a protective layer of float-glass
and frame it in your choice of a hand-made

To place an order for any of the pieces in this catalog, please call us Toll Free at 1-888-889-2723, or order
on-line using our secure server. For in-stock furniture, please refer to our Inventory Page at our website.
The website contains the most up-to-date information. In-stock orders can be shipped within 1 business
day after ordering. Furniture that is not in stock is usually shipped 4 to 6 weeks after ordering depending
on the piece. Rush orders are considered.
Shipping charges will be the exact UPS charges from our workshop to your home. Larger pieces are
shipped motor freight collect. There is also a crating charge for larger pieces.
Payment:
We accept Mastercard Visa American Express, Discover, checks or money orders. For custom furniture,
a 50% deposit is required upon ordering, and the balance is paid when the item has been made. Catalog
items paid by credit card are not charged until the day the piece is actually made and before the finishing
process. The piece is then shipped about 5 days after.
