2015 MAZDA Victorian Four-Ball Championship State Final Monday 16- Tuesday 17 March Sorrento & The National Player Information & Draw TOURNAMENT DETAILS About The Mazda Victorian Four-Ball Championship commenced in 1997 in response to a desire to create more State level events for club golfers, regardless of their geographic location, age or handicap level. The format for the event permits friends, club mates, family members, or work colleagues to join together as partners to compete for a State Amateur Golf Title. In a major coup for Golf Victoria, Mazda Victoria, in conjunction with Above Par Events has signed a three-year agreement as naming rights sponsor of the Mazda Victorian Four-Ball Championship. The agreement will run for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 events. From 1997 to 2004, Mazda were previously the naming rights sponsor of the Victorian Four-Ball Championship when the event was run by the former Victorian Golf Association. The exciting new sponsorship will see the introduction of a brand new Mazda2 on offer as a prize for any participant who records a hole-in-one on the designated par 3 of all qualifying events and the State Final. The Championship culminates with a 36-hole final in late March for 100 men’s, women’s & mixed pairs that qualify at one of the 20 regional qualifying rounds.
