If you struggle with list building and getting people to enter their name and e-mail
address in your opt-in form then prepare yourself to be amazed as I share three
little tips that will skyrocket your conversions.
First up we need a strong lead magnet, we'll use a little cheat and use PLR (private
label rights) here. The second thing is a strong squeeze page where the only
option to the visitor is to opt-in or shut the browser. Thirdly send traffic via article
marketing.
By following this blueprint you will have a high converting squeeze page and lots of
targeted traffic, what more could you ask for?
The Lead Magnet
You want to give away something that has a high value, and is different to what all
the other marketers in your niche are offering. Now if you've been marketing for
any length of time you will have seen offers for PLR content where you can just
add your name to the bottom of the page and suddenly be an expert in the niche.
Sadly it's not that easy, but if you spend a little bit of time with your PLR it can
become a real strong lead magnet. Let's take golf as our example. Go through the
PLR and pull out all of the content relating to hitting the big drives, and then
compile it into a "Top 10 Driving Tips That Will Have You Hitting The Fairway Every
Time". Suddenly we have turned the PLR into a unique strong lead magnet.
A Strong Squeeze Page
The best way to improve conversions is to make the page look professional and
keep it simple. Search the freelance sites / warrior forum and get a designer to
create an ecover for your lead magnet, a good ecover should cost you less than
$20 and really make it look a thousand times more valuable than the collection of
PLR it started out as. Finally the design of the squeeze page itself should be super
simple. An attention grabbing headline, your ecover, 2-3 bullet points and your optin box. The whole design should fit into a 800 x 600 pixel table so that the visitor

can't scroll the page, and the only link on this page should be to your privacy
policy.
Laser Targeted Traffic
Article marketing is a great way to generate visitors and give you expert status.

Technology advancement has made building lists the fastest form of marketing. In
times like these, consider this medium to be a blessing.
Building lists is achievable; however, retaining them may be as difficult. These tips
are not really secrets, but have been used over decades. All you have to make
sure is that your customers are extremely satisfied with you.
Email list can be created anyhow, but I will have to emphasize on the importance
of retaining them. Start with developing trust amongst your customers; they should
feel happy being a part of your page. Work really hard and remain committed.
Invitations can often direct your messages to spam, which is why you should first
seek permission. This permission ensures that your audience is interested in your
product. Make your company name public and have absolutely nothing hidden;
trust is the integral part of this relationship.
Carefully send out emails; you should not send out unnecessary rubbish material
which may cause your list to unsubscribe. Pay a lot of attention to your
composition; there should be no grammatical or spelling error. Once you build a list
you vow to enter into a relationship which you will maintain. When people
subscribe, send out a welcome message and ensure that this journey will be a long
pleasant and trusting one. Email them once every week at least; avoid sending too
many mails, you might be taken for a spammer.
When someone wishes to have him/herself unsubscribed go deep into the matter.
Find out why has the person opted out and what can be done to improve on it. The
