Replacement Blade Range
Disposable Solid Tungsten Carbide Blades
Our diamond cut 80mm and 50mm are
made from sub-micron grain carbide,
which are cut on CNC machines. This
produces a superior cutting edge which
lasts longer than many other leading
brands. Our blades use a super strong
bonding tape to affix them to the
aluminium backing plate.
Our disposable blades make regrinding a FALSE
ECONOMY. Avoid costly postage, two week turn-around
times and variable quality of regrinds.

X-File Blade Inserts
The inserts stack together to form a blade
as shown.

These triangular X-File solid tungsten carbide inserts offer
three cutting surfaces.
When one side is worn, simply rotate the blades to
utilise a fresh razor sharp cutting surface. Each
triangular X-File insert is available with either a
three or four groove pattern.
When arranged alternately the two patterns
provide a cutting surface that is easy to control
and holds a steady line while in use on the
arcades.

X- File Float Handles
Our triangular headed float handles are designed to be used with
X-File inserts. The inserts are secured on a stainless steel pin and
spacer, then fixed to the handle using an allen key and grub screw.
This ensures quick blade changes and reliable operation.
The triangular float head allows for easier oral access and greater
comfort for the equine patient, resulting in less soft tissue damage.
All of our float handles are handmade in the U.K. using surgical
grade stainless steel. The 7 ½ inch non-slip neoprene handles
make it easy to clean and sterilise the float handles and shafts
between each equine patient without losing grip.
They are also clearly numbered at the base of each handle
ensuring easy selection from your bucket. Our round shafted float
handles have the reverse side of the shaft milled to aid correct float
placement.

blades. Great care has been taken to finish these floats so that
they are completely free of sharp edges and corners. The smooth
finish minimises soft tissue damage and horses find the shape
unobtrusive.
All float handles are hand made in the U.K. using surgical stainless
steel. The 7 ½ inch non-slip neoprene handles make it easy to
clean and sterilise the float handles and shafts between each
patient without losing grip. They are also clearly numbered at the

Low Profile Stick-On Blade Float Handles
Our low profile stick on blade float range are designed to accept
50mm and 80mm tungsten carbide blades - attached using a
super strong bonding tape. Great care has been taken to finish
these floats so that they are free of sharp edges and corners.
The smooth, low profile finish minimises soft tissue damage.
These floats are particularly well suited to horses and ponies with
very tight mouths or where oral access is limited.
All of our float handles are hand made in the U.K. using surgical
stainless steel. The 7½ inch non-slip neoprene handles make it

without losing grip. Floats are clearly numbered at the base of the

Horse Dental Equipment : Power Tools and Accessories
1. Bowl Drill
Used without the extension to install and finish bitseats. Also
useful to reduce ramps and hooks on 6’s and 7’s.
2. Maxillary Drill
Conically shaped hand piece designed for use on the upper
molar arcades. Very well guarded to prevent soft tissue
damage. Used primarily on first, second, third, fourth, and fifth
upper cheek teeth.
3. Mandibular Drill
Used on the lower molar arcades. Very well guarded to prevent
soft tissue damage. Exceptional at reducing hooks, ramps and
overgrowths both caudal and rostral. Can be used with or
without the extension.
4. Angled Drill
Used without the extension to shape the 6’s and 7’s to reduce
canine teeth and for incisor work.
5. Disk Drill
Used to reduce and realign incisor arcades. Designed to be
used as a grinder as opposed to cutting the incisors.
6. Handle extension
Used to reach the caudal area of the mouth.
7. Electric Motor
Available in 240 and 110 volt. 1.3kg Very lightweight and quiet.
Adjust speed from the dial on the side of the engine.
Microprocessor regulates the speed even when the burr meets
more resistance. On/off switch for safe operation.
