Gold Glass Mosaics & Tiles
Ciril Zobec is a craftsman and a
creative innovator who was introduced to the secrets of glassmaking
as a child. Following in his father’s
footsteps, Ciril became a crystal
glass cutter in the famous Slovenian
Rogaska glassworks company.
The passion to face new challenges
led him to work for various glassworks learning new techniques
along the way. Eventually taking the
decision to start his own business.
Since then Ciril has created some
of the most intricate cut glass crystal products.
In 2003, Ciril started a fascinating
new chapter in his artisan career:
unique gold glass mosaics - the
most prominent mark on his work.
As a perfectionist, it took time,
knowledge and experience to reach
this goal, designing and producing
his own tools for glass melting and
processing.
Moreover, he has established partnerships with reliable suppliers of
amongst others: gold leaf, palladium
and crystal glass.
It is important to emphasise that
his products are handmade in a
small workshop, continuing the
2000 year old tradition of glass
processing.
Today, people around the world
appreciate his truly unique masterpieces: at home, in hotels and
businesses, as well as places of
worship.
