WUSM New Parking Rates For FY16 Announcement From: Facilities Integrated Service Center The purpose of this note is to communicate the new WUSM parking rates (shown below) for the upcoming fiscal year – FY16 (July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016). All revenue generated from parking is used to operate, maintain and develop the WUSM transportation program, as well as to jointly fund the WUMC shuttle system. As we have previously mentioned, parking on the Medical Center campus will continue to be a challenge for the near future. While there are projects underway to address additional parking, most substantive improvements are 4-6 months away. As a way to make your commute to/from the Medical Center easier, we encourage all employees to explore all available forms of mass transportation. As a reminder, the University’s U-Pass program is the best way to make this happen as it provides free fare on all Metro buses and Metrolink trains. Additional information on the U-Pass program and Metro’s available bus and train routes can be found at: http://parking.wustl.edu/transportation/Pages/u-pass.aspx and https://www.metrostlouis.org/Default.aspx respectively. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. If you have any questions, please contact the Facilities Integrated Service Center (FISC) at 314-362-3100 or [email protected]. The Storz building, #40 on the map below, and the land around it will be re-developed into a new multi-story office building that will house administrative personnel from both WUSM and BJH. ADA accessible parking is available in the Metro garage, indicated with a red star, and other locations on campus. Campus Renewal Video From: WUMC Campus Renewal Project The April project video is posted (the fourth in the monthly series). Please view it at http://www.bjcconstruction.org/News/VideoLibrary.aspx. The campus project reached another milestone last month. The first “slab on grade” concrete was poured 30 feet below Kingshighway.
