Under “One Country Two Systems”, Hong Kong maintains its unique strengths as an
international financial centre and a perfect gateway to Mainland China.
With an independent judiciary, a robust common law legal system, entrenched best practices
and regulatory processes of an international standard, Hong Kong remains a popular venue for
international dispute resolution.
This breakfast session aims at introducing to the participants the unique features of Hong
Kong’s “One Country Two Systems”, points to note in doing business in Hong Kong and what
Hong Kong can offer as an international arbitration venue.
