Located in Westerly and Charlestown, Rhode Island,
Shelter Harbor Golf Club is rated the #3 private golf
course in Rhode Island by Golf Digest.
The par 71, 7006 yard layout is a signature design of noted
golf architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. With
wide generous fairways and challenging approach shots,
the course provides a magnificent golfing experience for
golfers of all levels. The clubhouse is set into the crest of
one of the highest promontories in all of the state, and
enjoys unparalleled views of the course and surrounding
countryside.
As a private club, Shelter Harbor Golf Club restricts the
number of golf outings held there each year. We were
delighted to host our first tournament here in May 2011,
and look forward to another memorable event in 2015.

The Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools
would like to invite you to the FORE FACS Golf Classic.
All proceeds will benefit FACS. Please join us on one of
New England’s premier private golf courses spanning over
400 acres of environmental preserves.
The Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Schools
(FACS) is a local, nonprofit corporation that has supported
the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford for
over 30 years. The Foundation consists of a committed
Board of Trustees led by Chairman Archbishop Leonard P.
Blair who believe that a Catholic education is an “Education for a Lifetime.”
Our mission is to provide scholarships and fund special
projects in the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of
Hartford. FACS raises money through donations from
generous individuals and businesses, special events and
planned gifts. Our Catholic schools serve students of
various religious backgrounds.
