TO Get To Know Each Other Eat, Play & Have Fun Build Our Community Raise Money for IHC & Sisterhood Party & Event Catalog June 2014 - January 2015 Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation We would like to thank the following IHC Members for creatively planning and generously donating all of the wonderful events you will find in this catalog: Special thanks to Charlene Pfenninger for her help in getting this project up and running. Dear IHC Family, It is with much pride and excitement that we present to you our Come Together Catalog of Parties and Events, all creatively planned and generously donated by our members. You will see that there are 29 events, offering you a lot of choices. Surely there is something for everyone – families with children, adults, singles or adults and even ladies only! There are parties for every taste and every budget. Please read through all of the incredible options and sign up for as many as you can. While one of the goals of this project is to raise money for IHC and Sisterhood’s projects and programs, the other goal is to offer social opportunities that will allow our members to meet and get to know each other, thereby strengthening our IHC Family. We ask each of you to sign up for at least one event. If you are not able to attend any of the events, we hope you will make a donation. The only way we can achieve our goals is for everyone to Come Together and join the fun! Thank you for making IHC a wonderful place and for helping us achieve our FUNdraising goals, Your Come Together Chair, Sonja Kantor 1 10 Things You Should Know about 1. There are a total of 29 parties with over 1000 spaces to fill. Please do your part by signing up for as many as you can, even if you don’t know the hosts. We need to fill every spot and it is a great way to get to know each other! 2. All reservations are on a first come, first served basis and are limited to the number of spaces per event as indicated. 3. All parties are open to IHC members and their friends. 4. These parties have all been donated by their hosts, now you pay IHC to attend them. Your “donation” may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor. 5. Our hope is that you will sign up for all the parties upfront, by June 1. We understand that it may not be realistic for everyone to plan that far ahead. So we will be promoting events that still have space available through out the coming months. Watch the IHC e-news, Kulanu and your emails. 6. There are two ways to sign up: by using the enclosed order form and paying by check or by visiting the Sign-Up Genius section of the IHC website (www.ihcindy.org) to pay with your credit card. Sign-Up Genius is very easy to use, you will just need to create an account. Please note that a small fee for using your credit card will be added to the price of each party you purchase. 7. There will be no refunds, unless a party must be cancelled. 8. A confirmation reminder and any special instructions will be emailed to you prior to your scheduled events. Please include your current email address on the order form. 9. The order form and catalog can be found at www.ihcindy.org if you need extra copies or want to email them to friends. 10. If you can’t make it to any of our events, please consideration making a donation. We’d much rather have your company, but your donation, what ever the amount, will help us with our many worthwhile projects and programs this year. We thank each of you for making Come Together a success! 2 #1 Bagels and Brushes Three Sunday Sessions: June 8, 15 & 22 from 12-2:30pm Join local artist and IHC’s very own, Cathy Kravitz and become “Picasso for a Day” as you help Cathy paint the banners that will hang from IHC’s Sukkah for years to come.
