We are participating in The Good News Festival with Franklin Graham that is on August
22-23. Please place this event on your summer schedule and your prayer calendar. As
we move closer to this event you will have several opportunities to help prepare for and
be part of this event.
During May you are invited to participate in the Christian Life and Witness Course
(CLWC). It is a four-part study designed to help Christians reignite their faith and
share it with others. The course is taught over 3 two hour sessions. The CLWC sessions
will be held in different locations between May 4-23. I will be taking a group of people
from our church for the Thursday night sessions (May 7, 14 & 21) at Quail Springs Baptist Church. We will meet by the office parking area and leave at 6:15 p.m. Each evening sessions will be held from 7-9 p.m. If you would want to attend one of the other
sights, you can find a schedule at OKCgoodnews.org or call the church office for the information.
The Good News Festival with Franklin Graham is an effor t to share the gospel and
encourage people to a deeper walk with Christ. It is my prayer that God will challenge
each of us to take up this opportunity to reignite our faith and share it with others.
