Dear Sir,
I am directed to inform by our President, Felix Calderon, that after a
lengthy recent conversation with you concerning safety issues in El
Salvador and after careful consideration he has regrettably decided to
cancel the CCCAN Championships to be held in El Salvador in June 2015.
This decision was taken due to your Government's inability to guarantee
100 % safety for the visiting delegations in El Salvador about which many
of our National Federations have expressed concern.
The CCCAN Executive appreciates the fantastic effort that you have made
in your bid to organize the championships and hope that you will
understand that this decision has brought much pain and sadness as we
were looking forward to receiving your Salvadorean hospitality.
On behalf of the CCCAN Executive Committee we thank you for your
understanding of the situation and look forward to hearing from you
shortly on your Federation's acceptance of this decision.
