Hope everyone had a great Spring Break! The science and art fair was a huge
success! Thank you again to all our volunteers! Special thanks to Amy Oliver, Melanie
Jelinek, Shannon Cortinas, Jennifer Park, Kareliz Ramcharan and Kate Williams.
Congratulations to our Golden Acorn recipients Shannon Cortinas and Tammy Wyatt.

I'd also like to welcome our newly elected board members: Jennifer Genovese President Elect, Nicole Zander – Secretary, Andrea Novillo – Fundraising, Danielle
Stoecklin – Fundraising, Amy Holstead - Assistant Treasurer, and Kareliz Ramcharan –
Membership.
They will be joining Heather Axtell, Shawna Dickson, and myself, we are all looking

will help feed kids in our community.
Each Class will be assigned with a
food item to donate. We will be

donations

Monday, June 15th in front of the
admin office. Together we can make

Textile Donation Drive
Have you been doing any spring cleaning? Do you have any garage sale leftovers? Please give your clothes a
second life by participating in our textile collection drive! Textiles include: CLOTHING any condition – new, used,
SHOES any kind/any condition, single or paired; TOWELS bath, kitchen, rags; SHEETS, BLANKETS, QUILTS;
CURTAINS/DRAPERY; PURSES, BELTS synthetic/leather; THROW RUGS (not carpet); TABLECLOTHS,
PLACEMATS...
Unfortunately we cannot take glass, breakables, bed pillows, commercial linens or electronics. Start collecting now
in black garbage bags or tall kitchen bags. Collection date and additional info to come.
