Florida Grant Developers
Network ~ K-12, Inc.
History
The Florida Grant Developers Network K-12
(FGDN K-12), Inc., a 501(c)6 educational
association, was founded in 2004 by a small
group of grant professionals working in public
school districts in Florida. The FGDN K-12
provides a professional network to help K-12
grant developers learn and grow through
specialized learning opportunities to share
expertise, knowledge, and best practices in the
field. The Network strives to meet the needs
of Florida’s grant developers and to ensure
they are fully prepared to provide their
superintendents and public school systems
with the best possible counsel related to
grants acquisition and administration, state
and federal educational policy, community
partnerships, and program planning and
development. The Network today connects
grant professionals throughout almost all of
Florida’s public school districts.
Membership is open to…
 Individuals having direct interest,
currently, previously, or
impending, in grant development
and implementation activities
from within K-12 public school
systems in the state of Florida.
Benefits of Membership...
One of the key components of
membership in FGDN K-12 is the
ability to network with grant
professionals across the state of
Florida. Members connect anytime
through the FGDN K-12 Listserv by
posting questions and receiving
timely support. Another benefit of
membership is participation in
FGDN K-12 forums conducted twice
annually. The winter forum is a
two-day conference with a concentration on grant professional develop-
