English World History Math PE ELD Levels ELD students have been recommended for 9th grade placement by their ELD teachers. The Pink programming sheet will reflect this information. 2 Additional Class Choices May choose Science and World Language Recommend: Science or World Language and one of the following: 1 year long elective or 2 semester electives Everyone chooses 10 alternate electives Strongly Recommend: Students in World Language earn a “B” or higher in 8th grade English (To access AP World Languages, begin World Language in 9th grade.) Students complete a VPA (Visual and Performing Art) in 9th grade Arcadia High School courses are rigorous (homework counts!) One of the skills acquired in high school is learning to adapt to different teaching styles and personalities. Usually concerns involve a communication issue and can be resolved after a parent/student/teacher meeting.
