and what they mean. Are you worried Social Security may not be there through your entire retirement? We’ll examine the Social Security Trustees’ report which looks at the next 75 years and what you can expect. Did you know
that your Social Security benefits may be taxed? We’ll cover when and how much of your benefit will be included

what happens if you collect while still employed and how much of your benefit you’ll be required to pay back into
the system if you do. Do you want to get the most out of Social Security? Waiting to claim in order to get the highest monthly benefit may not be the best decision for everyone. Learn how to use the tools available to you to calculate what the best course of action may be depending on your individual situation. No two families are identical and
what may be the right choice for someone else may not be the best decision for you. Learn how to navigate the Social Security options available for you so you can make the most of Social Security and have the retirement you deserve. This 2 week class is open to retirees and spouses.

Have you considered an annuity but aren’t sure if it’s the best investment for you? Perhaps you’re trying to figure

Location: Arcelor Mittal Burns Harbor Career Development Center
Prerequisites: None
*The "Introduction to Renewable Energy Systems" course is truly one of the most remarkable courses offered in
the 22 years of Career Development at Burns Harbor. It not only features one of the programs best instructors,
Stanley Czapla, an instructor who spent 42 years at the United Association of Plumbers & Pipe fitters and ended
up running their Regional Center at Mokena, IL, with 18 full-time Heating & Air employees under him, but also
state of the art equipment (Energy Audit Testing Facility & a Geo-thermal unit converted into a trainer). In addition the class will have a wind turbine trainer and a solar thermal trainer. This equipment is not available at our
local Ivy Tech College. This class will be offered as either a 3 credit hour class for those pursing a Ivy Tech degree or also for those individuals who want a comprehensive knowledge of sustainable energy systems for use at
home or helping their friends and relatives. This is not a course that will give certifications. Whether it's solar,
wind turbine, geo-thermal or solar thermal these fields take years to get certifications. This course will however
give the participant a comprehensive understanding of the 4 areas of sustainable energy. It's one of the best
courses offered at Burns Harbor.
