Georeferenced Multispectral Imagery gives information beyond the visible, allowing for early detection of
problems in a field. It is also useful for creating a map of
relative crop health, a necessary input for prescription
maps. Multispectral data is often displayed as a color
infrared image, from which a Normalized Difference
Vegetation Index (NDVI) image can be derived.
