Sending Birthday "Fishes"
Make a birthday card that pops up when you open it. I love the dimension it adds and looks
great displayed too!
1. Fold a piece of white 10x7 cardstock in half to use as background for the card. Closed card
will measure 5x7.
2. Use Coastal Shape Template and Ultra ShapeXpress to cut out four fish from patterned
paper. One will go on the outside of the card and three will go on the inside.
3. Embellish the fish using the Circle Pop-Up Punch for the eye with a button and My
Funny Valentine Squeeze Punch for the gill with gems.

4. Cut a piece of 5x7 blue cardstock and place across top of card. Then use Boundary Waves
Border Punch on strips of 7" long aqua cardstock and adhere across the card just below the
blue strip, taking care that no white shows through. Then repeat process with aqua and
blue strips alternating as shown until entire front of card is covered.
Add one of the embellished fishes and letter stickers for the message to complete front of
card.
Inside of card:
5. Cut a piece of 10x7 blue cardstock and fold in half, making sure the textured side of the
cardstock is on the inside (smooth side out). On the folded end of the card, cut three 1/2"
wide tabs and fold up. When you open the card the tabs will now form little benches
popping out of the card as shown. Adhere this piece of blue paper to the inside of your card.

6. Adhere the embellished fish onto each of the popped up strips and add your message to
finish.

Spinner
This is a great card for letting someone know just how you feel! An interactive spinner lets
you say it all.
1. Cut a piece of 4.5x9 patterned paper and fold in half. This will be used as the background
for the card.
2. Use Circle Cutter to cut one circle out of white cardstock and another out of pink
cardstock that is slightly larger.

3. Adhere white circle to pink circle. Then use a pen and ruler to separate white circle into
quarters.
4. Use That's Amore, Twinkle Twinkle, He Said She Said Squeeze Punches and Shamrock
Pop-Up Punch to add icons to each quarter of the circle. Then add messages with rub-ons.

2. Set the now finished circle decoration onto the front of the card (do not adhere!) and use
Eyelet Setter to punch a hole through the center of the circle and card. Add a brad through
the center to attach them all together. Your circle should be able to spin all the way
around.
3. Now punch One Way Squeeze Punch (arrow) from patterned paper. Add two layers of
foam adhesive under the back end of the arrow to adhere to the front of the card. Finish by
using the Twist & Flip Corner Rounder to round bottom corners of the card. Add gems.
note: use a punched shape or scrap of paper to cover the brad back inside the card if desired.

Step up a simple tag with a fun pull tab to reveal a cute hidden message!
1. Cut a piece of purple cardstock to 6x6 and then fold in half. The textured side of the
cardstock should be the outside of the tag, we will be sealing it closed.
2. use trimmer to create a slit about 1/2" from the end of the right side of the card.

3. Create a tab from white cardstock with two vertical tabs. The tab is a piece of white
cardstock that is .75x6 and the two vertical tabs are .75x2.5.
Note: If you are creating a card that is different measurements than this one you just need
to make sure the tab is long enough to be pulled.
4. Slip the two vertical tabs through the slit so they come out the front, but the long pull tab
is hidden underneath the front flap of the tag. Put adhesive on the inside edges of the
folded tag so that it is sealed shut. The tag should now be 3x6. Write pull on the end of the
tab.
5. Use That's Amore Squeeze Punch XL with pink cardstock and cut the heart in half.

6. Adhere the heart to the front of the tag so the slit runs through the pieces of the heart.
Write message on the heart. Use Twist & Flip Corner Rounder on right corners of the tag.
7. Now let's decorate the rest of this tag! Use Fun Shapes Template and Ultra ShapeXpress
to cut a flower out of patterned paper and punch a flower using Oopsie Daisy Squeeze
Punch out of patterned paper then layer both flowers together. Adhere the flowers to the
left vertical tab on the front of the card.
8. Punch a green cardstock leaf using Mint Condition Squeeze Punch and adhere to the
front of the card as shown.
9. Trim a strip of dark pink cardstock 1x3.25 and adhere it to the right vertical tab on the
front of the card. Punch a light pink strip of cardstock with Scallop Sentiment Border
Punch and adhere it to the dark pink strip. Finish with letter stickers, a button, and gems.

Hello.
Create a pretty pop-up flower in the center of the card. A nice, colorful surprise for the
inside of a simple card!
1. Fold a piece of 3x6 teal cardstock in half to use as the background of the card. Then trim
a 2.5x2.5 piece of patterned paper and adhere to the front of the card.
2. Use Scallop Sentiment Border Punch on pink cardstock and adhere to the front of the
card.
3. Add strip of white cardstock and letter stickers as well as a pattern paper Daisy (Oopsie
Daisy Squeeze Punch) to the front of the card. Complete front with a button.

4. Use Scallop Sentiment Border Punch with patterned paper and trim into two 1x11
strips. Fold accordion style on each scallop and then unfold the strips. On strip #1 use
Microtip Scissors to cut a 1/2" slit into the bottom every fourth fold. You will cut a slit, then
count down four scallops and cut again. On strip #2 do the same thing, only cut them from
the top of every fourth fold.
5. Take the two strips and lock them together where you made the slits. Fold the strips
back up together, making the ends of the strips the top and bottom of the group.

6. Add adhesive to the front and back and adhere to the middle of the inside of the card.
Add message on the inside.
