Ladies Spring Tea at Bethany
Bethany extends to our ladies an invitation to attend Bethany’s
Annual Ladies Spring Tea on Thursday, May 28. This year they
are excited to have award winning artist Debbie Fortnum as our
musical and guest speaker. Please see the bulletin insert. To

Tithes and Offerings
Sunday School every Sunday: 9:15 am classes for Adults, Youth
and Kids This is a great way for Youth and Adults to deepen our
understanding of God’s Word and to meet people in a smaller group
setting. This is a great opportunity for your children to learn Bible
stories and to make friends in church.
God Speaks to us through His Word
Nursery Care provided for Infants - 2 year olds from 10:30am
onward to the end of our service (Nursery on main floor).

Children Ages 2 - Gr. 3 will be dismissed from the service to attend
Junior Church after the Children’s Prayer.

Children ages 2-4 years (Toddlers) Please pick up your children
from Noah's Place immediately following the service

The Evergreen Baptist Home Society will be holding its Annual
General Meeting on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 am
in the Evergreen Chapel. All members of the Society are
encouraged to attend.

Mexico Missions Trip Yard SaleThis Week!
There will be a church yard sale on Saturday, May 30 in the
Fraser Street parking lot from 10am to 3pm, as a FUNDRAISER
for our upcoming Mexico missions trip. Please speak to Pastor
Isaac if you can help by donating PRICED items (from your
spring cleaning!) Thanks and hope to see you there!
Keep Vancouver Spectacular on Fraser Street:
The South Hill Business Association is holding a Keep
Vancouver Spectacular event on Saturday, June 6th 2015
from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. They would be thrilled if a team
from our church would be willing to volunteer with our
neighbours. The City of Vancouver supplies us with safety vests,
garbage bags, gloves and long-handled pickers for picking up
garbage. At the end, tea, cookies and prizes are given to
volunteers. Speak to Pastor Isaac if you would like to join in.

PRAYER AND PRAISE:
Operation Baby Bottle 2015
Fill a baby bottle to raise funds for mothers and babies in need.
Turn in your bottles between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
(June 21st). See Diana Reichert at welcome centre for more
info. This is a fundraiser in support of the Crisis Pregnancy
Centre.
Decorating Committee:
The present Decorating Committee is looking for younger
volunteers to replace them by the end of August, 2015. We look
forward to hearing from as many interested people as possible.

Monday_
Pray for all those who made decisions at May Camp to give their
lives to Christ or to follow him more closely. Pray that these
decisions will be more than words and will be put into action in daily
life
Tuesday.
Pray for the Mexico Mission Trip. Pray for fund raising. Pray for
safety and logistics. Pray for a powerful advance of the truth of Jesus
in those we are going to serve and in the team members.
Wednesday_
Paco Damian, Field Coordinator, Hispanics for
Christ, Queretaro, Mexico.. In 2004, God put a
desire in Paco’s heart to start Fusion Ministries, a
church-planting ministry established in the state of
Queretaro in central Mexico. God has permitted
them to establish their first church, with a vision to
continue planting throughout the region, motivating
other pastors in the area to plant churches. Paco is married to
Shawna and they have two children. Pray for Paco and his ministry
through Hispanics for Christ.
Thursday_
Pray for Trinity Baptist Church in Kelowna, B,. Senior Pastor Wayne
Alguirre and numerous staff. Pray that God’s hand would be in eery
step taken as they move forward with a new Youth Building. Pray
also for their men’s bible study “Man Up” as they meet at 6:15am on
Wednesdays.
Friday.
Please continue to pray for our Search Committee
and Elders as they seek God's will for a new
Senior Pastor for our church. Pray for them by
name: Robert Brose, Brian Kinniston, Bill Konnert,
Bob Krahn, Crista Lof, Pe'er Solomon, Sharon Tobert and Jing
Wang, Pray God will encourage them and give them Wisdom as
they next meet. Pray that God will prepare our new pastor well and
will make clear to us the direction we should go.
Saturday_
Pray God will help us to find and enter his kingdom through the
narrow gate. Ask him to wake us up and help us not just go along
with the flow of this world.
