Dear Parents, The final count down has begun and it is two more days to go till our long awaited Christmas Bazaar. This year we’ve got the Oldland Brass Ensemble lined up that will provide outside entertainment near the Food Stalls. We’re also very excited about the number of Sixth Form students that will participate in our event. They will be selling greeting cards, luxury handmade hampers, handmade photo frames, calendars and Colston’s travel mugs amongst others. Do visit our Christmas tree stall next to the Roundway Tower. We are selling potted and pot grown trees as well as different kinds of stands. Wreaths and mistletoe will be on sale as well as kindling and bags of logs. We would like to thank all of you who responded to our appeal for donations. We’ve had an amazing response especially for soft toys and teddies. We now have more than enough, but would still welcome donations of jigsaw puzzles and any kind of bottle (see “Bottle Tombola” further down). Please support the World Challenge group. They will be hosting games and activities in the Sports Hall to raise funds for their 28-day expedition to Ecuador in 2015. Christmas Stalls: Our main Christmas stalls will display their goods in the Dining Hall. They’ll have a variety of items on sale such as art and handcrafted jewellery, natural handmade soaps and body luxuries, fabric goods such as doorstops and peg bags, cushions, bunting, lunch bags and book -or passport covers, greeting cards, giftwrap, thank you cards, invitations and prints, Christmas decorations, novelties and stocking fillers, jars with dried cookie and muffin ingredients and the famous cheese stall will be back.
