Working on new ideas!

Working on new ideas!
Each month is getting busier. We are excited that so many people are embracing the philosophy of
Ministry of Handmade and taking part in workshops and private lessons.
We have quite a few new workshops on the drawing board.
Last weekend we spent our time on R & D....working on new workshop and product ideas... trialling,
testing and prototyping. Within the next few weeks we should have some news to share with you all!
If you have any ideas for workshops you'd like us to consider, please let us know! Our goal is to
deliver workshops that are fun, rewarding, challenging, creative and practical. We love it when you
learn new skills and take home something you love that you have made yourself.
Kokedama ‐ a.k.a. Moss Balls
We are excited to launch this new workshop!
We will be joined by landscape architect and micro gardener, Johanna MacMinn, who will guide us
through how to make these wonderful mini garden balls.
Seen in all the coolest places, moss balls create instant impact. And the good news....they are easy
to care for, so definitely no green thumb required! Make two of your own in the workshop but be quick
as there are only ten places available.
DIY kits now available
Two of our most popular workshops are now available as kits.
Just for those who can't get to workshops or would like to make more at home....we now have kits for the
Lampshade Workshop and the Rag Quilt Workshop.
Each kit is available for pickup or delivery and comes complete with stepbystep instructions
including lots of photos and hints and tips. We want you to be able to achieve the best results possible.
The quilt kit even comes with precut cotton batting squares and a small sewn sample to show you
exactly how everything should look and how to achieve the best soft raggy finish.
These would make lovely gifts for crafty friends!
Can't get your calendar to line up with
ours?
Is there a workshop you would love to do, but can't get the dates to work? We are really flexible and easy to get along with! All of our workshops are available as private
lessons. Why not book a time that suits you and we can run through a workshop oneonone with you?
Or, get a group of friends together, choose a workshop project that you like, and we will run it as a
private event. What a great way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion!
We are happy to discuss options...Call us on 0414 467 405!
Big Butt Baby Britches
Aren't these are the cutest baby pants ever!! Make them with stretch or woven fabrics.
Get ready for the cooler weather with these great wardrobe staples available in Sizes 000 6. These
pants are generously sized to fit over a nappy or for the popular Harem pants look.
These use so little fabric that you can almost make them from offcuts, or if you are into recycling, use a
unwanted garment you already have. The workshop will cover the basics of sewing with stretch fabrics
and how to apply ribbing.
There are just a few spaces left in this workshop on Saturday June 21.
Are you on Instagram?
We are and we love it! Why not follow us?
