Aims of the Course: To educate students about the different categories of microorganisms including bacteria, viruses & fungi regarding classification, structure, growth characteristics & replication of each microbial category. To provide students with knowledge about the physiology of microorganisms, the growth curve, and microbial metabolism. To help student to understand the basic background about microbial genetics and immunology (including innate and acquired immunity). 2. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) a.
