Vacuum Consumables PRO-VAC 150-LG-75 VACUUM BAGGING FILM For low temperature cure up to 120°C Description: • A tough, puncture resistant co-extrusion of polyolefin and nylon based resins which are designed for use in the production of polyester/ vinylester resin infused components for the wind energy, marine and general composite industries. • Limited sensitivity to low humidity levels which are often problematic to predominantly nylon based films as the lack of moisture can reduce flexibility. This ensures consistent year long performance in all workshop environments. • It is available in widths of up to 10 meters without seams. For larger more complex mouldings, such as boat decks, our 80 micron version is recommended due to its added resistance to handling stresses and improved burst resistance. Technical data: Part number PV150-LG-75 Colour Light Green Width 4m, 6m, 8m & 10m Thickness 75μ +/-15% ISO 4593 Elongation (break) MD 340% +/- 15% ASTM D882 TD 350% +/-15% ASTM D882 MD 30 N/mm² +/-15% ASTM D882 TD 25 N/mm² +/-15% ASTM D882 Tensile (break) Maximum use temp 120°C Packaging and storage Standard packaging is a strong bubble plastic; the rolls can be packaged in cardboard tubes if requested by customer. This film contains a significant percentage of nylon which is hydrophobic therefore the film’s characteristics may change dependent on workshop and storage environment. The lower the humidity, the stiffer the film will feel. Vacuum Consumables PRO-VAC HFVL High flow vacuum line Description: • PRO-VAC HFVL is acost effectivehigh quality micro porous vacuum line which allows air to flow consistently through itself as well as acting as a resin barrier throughout the vacuum infusion process. • PRO-VAC HFVL consists of a combination of products that have been brought together to make a user friendly and easy hand able robust product. • Adhesive was chosen as the sealing agent between the layers because during our extensive testing of the PRO-VAC HFVL we found that this method of sealing (instead of welding) produced a much higher quality and durable seal. Process benefits • Allows for less complex infusion strategies therefore can reducelabour time •Excellent vacuum compaction throughout the process resulting in a better quality laminate • Small footprint on the laminate surface • Releases easily from all know resin systems • Can be used as a sacrificial vacuum line to initiate vacuum once the laminate is wet out • Can be used as a single point vacuum outlet to combat troublesome dry areas in already established process • Does not contain resin after cure therefore no issues with marking due to exotherm •Reduced amount of resin required for the process because no resin is wasted in the vacuum lines and catch pots Specification Widths: 150mm and 300mm wide *Special widths may be ordered contact our technical staff for details Length: 100m long rolls Technical details and training For further technical information and training please contact our technical staff to organize a product demonstration.
