The Facilities at St. Cloud State provide prospective football players a chance to improve their skills while working with top college coaches. The Husky football team has advanced to the NCAA Playoffs in 3 of the past 5 seasons. OFFENSE: Team skill development QB drills RB/WR breakdowns OL evaluations Offensive strategies Who Is Eligible? Scott Underwood Head Coach Coach Underwood is going into his 8th year as the Huskies head coach. In his first 7 seasons, the Huskies have a record of 58-25 and have made the NCAA Playoffs 3 times. Prior to being named head coach, Underwood was the defensive coordinator for the Huskies since 2001. Before he came to SCSU, he was the inside linebackers coach at the University of North Dakota for four seasons. From 1993 to 1996, Underwood served as the defensive coordinator at the University of Souix Falls. The University of Souix Falls advanced to the playoffs three of those four seasons, and won the NAIA Division II National Championship in 1996. Doug Patterson Co-Offensive Coordinator Patterson joined the Husky staff as co-offensive coordinator in 2007. Since then, the Huskies offense has set numerous school records. Prior to coming to SCSU, Patterson had been the offensive coordinator at Minot State University for 7 seasons. All boys going into grades 9 through 12 during the 2015-2016 school year are welcome to attend the St. Cloud State University Football Camps. They will be divided into groups based on their age and/or grade. Training Program Coaches will stress fundamental development in all areas. Players will be divided by skill and age, and will focus on improving a wide variety of skills to better themselves for the upcoming season. Campers will also be given opportunities to put their skills and abilities on display. •Individual instruction will be provided by the SCSU Coaching Staff as well as current and former players. •Fundamentals are emphasized throughout the camp. •Athletic trainer on duty during entire camp. •In addition to the specialized instruction each camper receives a camp T-shirt and lunch DEFENSE: Individual instruction Team skills Play recognition Tackling technique Registration Information DATES: June 28, 2015 and July 12, 2015 Parking: Vehicles can be parked in K Lot or the Husky Pay Lot. Both lots are just south of Husky Stadium. Registration: Campers will register as they enter the South Gate of Husky Stadium Equipment: Campers must bring Helmet, Mouth Guard, Shoulder Pads, and Football Cleats! Tennis shoes are also encouraged as inclement weather may lead to a practice being moved indoors. Payment and Refunds The balance is due upon reporting to camp. A $60 refund will be permitted up to 7 days prior to camp date. Notification of acceptance and complete camp information will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit and registration form.
