PROM – Prom tickets are available now at the Student Store. Early Bird prices – singles are $70 and couples
are $125. Early Bird prices end soon so get them before they go up! If you are bringing a guest from outside of
VUSD, please go to Student Store and pick up a contract. ALL OBLIGATIONS MUST BE PAID BEFORE
PURCHASING PROM TICKETS!
Yes! The Media Center will be holding Extended Hours on Thursday from 4-7. Kick off Spring Break by
getting some of your work done!
Congratulations – To all the ASPIRE teams who participated in the competition last week. Big kudos to the
two teams moving on to the County Competition: Focus Tunes: Cooper Powell and Alejandro Torres and
BPA Waste Reduction Agency: Evan Soma, Alysa Elliott, Torin Hill, and Carrie Coonan
ISPE hours - Are due by noon on Thursday, April 2. Grades will be posted that day, so please get
your hours in on time.
Senior Pride Day – Another Senior Pride lunch…..on Thursday April 2nd we will have Orange
Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli and Beef, and a whole mess of other stuff from Panda Express
for you all! So make sure you don’t go off campus or anything. Fresh and Easy is closed anyway.

Dragon Press Journalism – All students accepted into Dragon Press Journalism come to I-107 this
TODAY at 11:50 to meet the editors and advisor. Treats will be given out and info about June banquet!
Air Guitar – Auditions will be March 30th –April 2nd from 2-3pm in Spirito Hall. Sign up for a time on the door
of D-108.
MEDIA CENTER/COMMUNITY SERVICE
Poinsettia - Is looking for responsible high schools to tutor kids in their after school homework club. They
need helpers every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Please respond to Wes Wade if

Ventura County Medical Center - Is looking for preferably a Junior or Senior student to scan vintage
photos of our hospitals Ventura County Medical Center and Santa Paula Hospital onto an external hard drive
saved with a description. This volunteer opportunity may be done on your scanner at home. There are
approximately 500 pictures and could be up to a 20 hour volunteer service opportunity. Please call/text Amy

E.P. Foster Library - Is looking for Tech savvy volunteers to help people learn about today’s
