Camp Philosophy & Overview
Welcome to Forest City Hockey School.
At Forest City Hockey School, children will
have fun making new friends, learn new
things in a safe, comfortable environment.
Campers will be gently encouraged to
develop confidence and self-esteem, while
learning new athletic skills. A week of
Forest City Hockey School will be a
unique, character building experience, that
will produce life-long camp memories!
Our camper-to-staff ratio is low, which
makes it possible for kids to receive more
individual instruction.
Forest City Hockey School is tailored for each level and type of player under the guidance of highly
talented instructors. The campers are divided into divisions by age, size, and ability so that maximum
instruction may be given at all levels.
Fundamentals: Emphasis will be on Hockey fundamentals (forward and backward strides, stops, forward and backward crossovers, stick handling, passing and shooting) in a FUN ENVIRONMENT!!!
The staff seeks to provide quality instruction while emphasizing that Hockey is a game to be enjoyed.
Experienced Staff: Forest City Hockey School staff is composed of high school coaches, teachers,
minor coaches and top level local players. These instructors have been selected for their teaching
skills, maturity, and ability to supervise campers on and off the ice. Each child's well-being is our
staff's full time responsibility!!
Busy Schedule: The daily schedule is quite full, but it is also flexible. Each Camper receives 3 hours
of ice-time daily. With technical instruction and drills the Campers receive the latest in instructional
techniques. On-ice demonstrations, drills, and personal instruction are supplemented by off-ice
outdoor activities.
Individual Attention: Making certain that everyone receives individual instruction is one of the goals of
the Forest City Hockey School. To insure this, enrollment is limited each week, and we maintain a small
student to coach ratio. In addition to small group instruction & drill sessions, competitive play is also
fostered.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Full payment of $350 is due. To pay in increments, a $100 deposit is due by May 1, 2015, along with a cheque of $100 postdated for June 1, 2015 and a cheque of $150 postdated for July 1, 2015. Please include payment with your application.
A discount of $20/person will apply only to each additional family member that registers. Your cashed cheque will confirm your acceptance in the camp. All participants will be notified one (1) week prior to camp.
2. In the event of an emergency I hereby give my permission to administer any medical procedures to save my child.
3. Refund Policy - There will be NO refunds for cancellations after June 1, 2015, unless a medical certificate is given, and then a $100 administration fee will be applied. This fee can be credited towards the camp in the following year.
4. Students are responsible for their own lunch.
5. All players are responsible for wearing full hockey equipment.
