Franklin College has a proud tradition of
success within the Heartland Collegiate
Athletic Conference and the NCAA Division III, including several HCAC allsports championships in both men’s and
women’s sports. However, our most impressive “trophies” are the generations of

Both the Women’s Volleyball and Basket-
Co -Camp Directors: Mary Helak comes to
Franklin after a successful career as the assistant coach at Stevens Institute of Technology.
In her five seasons as the Head Coach at
Franklin, she has improved the team’s on court
record and overall team GPA. Lauren
McRoberts is currently the top assistant for the
Franklin Women’s Basketball team. She comes
to Franklin after a standout career at NCAA
Division I University South Carolina Upstate. A
Carmel native she was also a captain of the
2008 Class 4A Championship team
