Combo Dance (Grades K-3) ART01M
In dance combo class children will get to learn a variety of dance styles. Every week we will offer a
different style of dance covering Hip-hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, salsa, breakdance, ballroom,
and cultural dances. Each class will consist of warm-up and stretch followed by basic technique and a
small combo in the style of that week. Children get the opportunity to experience many styles of dance
and learn about the origins of each style. Combo dance is a great way to experience all types of dance,
and discover new ones as well.

Students will learn the basic ceramics techniques such as, molding, extruding, casting, forming, glazing
and decoration. They will create “take-home” projects after they are fired up in our kiln.

Open Mic Comedy (Grades 3-5) ART03M
Is this mic on?! Learn how to write your own material, and then perform your very own stand-up
routine. Express your creative side and work on your public speaking skills in this “funny” class. Class
will also incorporate improv games and challenges to get kids comfortable on stage. Classes are all
appropriate and kid friendly. Guided by their instructor, students will work on their stand up routine
through out the session.

DINO ROBOTICS/MEDIEVAL TIMES (Grades 1-3) SKL02M
Students will explore the fascinating and astonishing worlds of medieval machinery and robotics. With
this one of a kind program, students will have the opportunity to revive old and classic machinery using
new and cutting-edge technology.As they develop their skills, students will build different robot models.
Each model will be activated by one or more electrical engines, depending on the model, and will
simulate the different aspects of the machinery. In order to challenge students and further expose them
to the world of technology, they will learn about types of electrical engines, remote controllers,
cogwheels, and more!

It’s All About the Science!
Hop on the Science Express for a high-speed chemistry experience. Become a Lab Scientist-in- Training
in a whirlwind class on laboratory techniques. Then explore the farthest reaches of our Solar System and
build a model space station. Witness an underwater volcano, watch chemical reactions and see foam turn
into “goo.” You will even discover the science behind famous magic tricks that you can recreate and
explore the virtual science lab we call “the Kitchen.” It truly is All About the Science in the Mad Science
Lab!

Let’s Make a Super Hero Movie (Grades 2-5) ART05TU
Stop-Motion Animation
Super hero movies are bigger than ever! Have you ever wanted to make your own super hero movie? Join
Movies By Kids in this “Hollywood-style studio class where students will create and animate their own
super hero movies using the art of stop-motion animation. The class starts with creating your own super
hero or super villain. Students will then create the stories, film the movie, and become the voices for all
the characters. By the end of class, you will have created your own animated super hero movie. All
movies will be available to view and download

DISCOVER YOUR VOICE (Grades 2-5) ART06TU
This 80- minute vocal instruction class with Paula Keane teaches your child how to sing and use their
voice correctly. Through basic exercises in vocal technique, and performance instruction, your child will
learn to sing in a group and as a soloist. Each student will learn their own song and learn one group song
to perform at the end of the 8-week session. Parents will be invited to attend!

Students will work on skills with and without the Apparatus (Tumbling and Balancing). Techniques that

to introduce students to a wide variety of experiences related to balance, spacial awareness and agility.

Hey 4th and 5th Graders!! Do you want to learn new acting skills?
Or improve on the skills you already have? Need to learn how to create a character for a play or film?If
so, this is the class for you! We will develop beginning and intermediate scene study projects and work
on cold reading techniques. Practice improvisation, vocal work, character development,
relaxation/concentration techniques, and theater games. Wilbur’s own Drama teacher, Mr. Baxter Runs
teaches this course.

This Magic class will introduce magicians to prop magic tricks, sleight of hand, and more. Learn various
magic techniques and principles that will amaze your friends and family. This class is not only fun, it’s
beneficial as Magic helps develop new skills, dexterity, creativity, self-confidence, and stage presence!
We provide the supplies, tricks, and all materials needed for one magical workshop. A Magic Show at the
end of the session for all parents to watch will be expected, if our Magician’s are willing and dare to

Creating stories and characters is so much fun! With the help of one our skilled model magic creators,
the students will create their own Model-Magic Characters. They will be assisted with cameras to capture
their stories visually, adding voice-overs and scenery, to go along with the action! Model Magic is easy to
maneuver and dries quickly, and the kids will be able to bring their characters home after their stories
are completed at the end of the session. All stories will be available to view on our Movies By Kids

Kids will have the opportunity to learn to play their favorite songs and music on electric keyboards. This
club is a combination of keyboard piano lessons and a
Music-learning workshop. This class uses a clever visual method to teach the basics of music reading
and piano playing. We have developed lots of learning games and activities designed to instruct students
in the fundamentals of music theory, in ways that are fun, engaging, and stimulating. Each participant
has his/ her own keyboard supplied during the class, along with headphones, and books and other
materials are included. There will be a recital at the end of the session for family and friends!

Our instructors will guide you along the way as you Brainstorm, Storyboard your idea, Pencil, Ink, and
then Color. Delving deep, we will work on story and character development. This class will allow
students to be creative artists as they develop their artistic ability & creative writing skills while creating
their original comic book story. After the session is over, comic booklets are taken back to our studio and

Students learn about two fascinating and astonishing worlds - the world of dinosaurs and the world of
robotics. Students will also take part in a quest to excavate for bones using a kid-friendly kit to find them
and use them to build their mini dinosaur models. Students will build different robot models that will be
similar to specific dinosaur species. Each model will be activated by electrical engines, and will simulate
the specific dinosaur discussed in class. They will learn about types of sensors, electrical engines, remote
controllers, infrared qualities, cog-wheels (speed & momentum) and much more.
