CITY OF FRUITLAND PARK PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Approved For Release May 22, 2015 Contact: Dale Bogle (352) 360-6795 PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE – May 22, 2015 TO: Fruitland Park Water Customers City of Fruitland Park Water Distribution crews worked on repairing a water main break in the vicinity of Pine Ridge Dairy Rd. & Josephine Ave. today. The effect of the incident compromised the main which caused an eruption at approximately 8:00 a.m. The repair work resulted in the water line to become cracked at a major water main. Repairs are under way but the break has caused low water pressure in the water distribution system. Thus affecting customers on Josephine Ave. in Fruitland Park As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes, be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This precautionary boil water notice is expected to remain in effect until give end date here. It will be lifted when the required bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will be provided with a notification at that time.
