Date: May 2015 STM Australia @ Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo The team at STM Australia including management and employees would like to thank everyone who attended the AAAA exhibition. STM would also like to send out a special gratitude to all of our customers who went out of their way to come say "Hi", and also provide us with an insight as to how STM Australia's products play an influential factor in their everyday workplace or life. As many of our customers and other members of the industry are aware STM Australia went out of its way this year to establish its presence at the AAAA exhibition hosted at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The planning for the AAAA Exhibition began in the later months of 2014 and as many of you aware preparation is the key to ensure a successful trade show. Trade shows are not a low-cost event; they require a substantial amount of outlay including employee wages, promotional products, travel cost and a whole lot more. Therefore when a trade show event is conducted as large as the AAAA trade show, sales representatives from all over Australia are called to help out and get involved. The idea of the AAAA Exhibition is to generate leads, gain an insight into customers purchasing behaviours, product feedback and further develop business relationships in the hope to yield a greater return. The STM Australia stand was set up on Tuesday the 14th of April, one day before the event was ready to go live to the public. The Australian Auto Aftermarket Exhibition is a three day event and attracts industry representatives from all over the globe. Doors opened to the public at 10am on April 15th and closed the 18th April at 5pm. Products on display at the STM Australia stand included our famous 1 Litre Tom Thumb Oil Pump, Air Operated Oil Pumps, Storage Tanks, Grease Guns, the new STM 3 Reel Gantry System and much more. The team at STM Australia made exceptional use of the resources and business opportunities that were apparent at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Exhibition. Our state managers and representatives liaised with multiple industry representatives and customers who play a vital role in the lubrication and fuel transfer market. At STM we pride ourselves on developing an understanding, approachable and comfortable relationship with our customers. It was evident at the exhibition that STM is on that path. Customers mentioned that they were happy and satisfied with not only our products but customer service. At STM we believe that if our customers can approach us with any concern, what could possibly go wrong that could never be fixed. Throughout the three day exhibition STM Australia handed out over 500 custom USB's, pens, show bags, hats, stress drums, notepads, counter mats and much more! We hope everyone enjoyed the freebies! The custom USB drives were a great success with customers shocked by the creativity. The benefit of the USB is that it contains the 2015 STM Catalogue along with a separate drive for the user. Due to it being light weight many interstate and international customers found it a lot easier to carry then a hard copy catalogue. Overall the exhibition was a great success and wonderful experience. I would like to congratulate all of our representatives on a fantastic job and would like to express our gratitude to each and every person that went out of their way to stop by the STM Australia stand and make the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Exhibition possible.
