$5 vehicle entry. 6 equestrian sites. Flush toilets,
showers, dump station and electricity & water at
some sites. Although I have not been there, friends
have told me there are numerous beautiful trails.
The campsite provides a 12 x 12 foot six-rail Powder
River corral that will hold up to 2 horses. There is a
community corral centrally located that will hold 1 to
3 horses, and it includes water and manure
receptacle. Corrals are to be cleaned before checkout
About $22 per night: Generous Campsites, easily
accessible, about 6 miles gravel roads. w/ fire pit,
picnic table and hitching rail at each site. Water for
horses at the trail head at the edge of camp. Trails
are travelogue scenic & well maintained there is one
very nice bridge near the trail head, some water
crossings and steep sections of trail. No reservations
available, so this would be a mid-week arrival date to
get good sites. There are 8 equine campsites. Not
recommended for a beginner trail horse although
there is one easy trail.
Still working on this. Past member Janet
Zandersmith has land they may be available. I will
