Testing Information Spring 2015
Important Start time changes for the coming weeks. (Keep reading to find out what test to take.)
April 28th – no school for non-test takers
May 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th – 3 hour delayed start for all non-test takers.
Seniors - HSPE Testing information
April 27th – Math & Science HSPE, 8:00 am. April 28th – Reading HSPE, 8 am. April 29th – Writing HSPE, 8 am.
All seniors still needing to pass any portion of the Nevada High School Proficiency Exams (HSPE).
Juniors - ACT (April 28th 8 am – 1 pm) testing information - All other students have the day off.
Per state law, taking this test is a mandatory graduation requirement in the state of Nevada.
Testing rooms are posted around the school.
All students dismissed after all testing is complete. Students riding a bus will not be picked up until 2:30. Student staying on
campus will go to the library or gym. Lunch will be served from 1:00 – 1:30 for those students staying on campus.
Freshman and Sophomores - End of Course Exams (EOC)
There is a 3 hour delayed start May 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th for all non-test takers. Testing rooms are posted around the school.
Students with a conflict between EOC exam and AP exam will take the AP exam. They will take the EOC on an alternate date.
May 4th – ELA (English Language Arts) 1, May 5th – ELA (English Language Arts) 2
Both test are a mandatory graduation requirement for all sophomores currently taking English 3-4.
May 11th – Math 1
This test is a mandatory graduation requirement for all freshman and sophomores currently taking Algebra 1 or a higher math
class.
May 12th – Math 2
This test is a mandatory graduation requirement for all freshman and sophomores currently taking Geometry or a higher math
class.
