Woods Explorers
6/15 - 19
Come take an adventure into the wild woods and create artworks with what we find
there. We’ll build fairy houses, make forts, explore plants and animals, and get downright dirty. Pack your hiking boots, walking sticks, and adventure journals because we’ll
be moving and grooving in nature!
Wet and Wild
6/22 - 26
Who says you can’t spend the week getting soaked? Bring your bathing suit and a towel
because this week we’ll be conducting wacky science experiments, tossing water balloons, making messy art pieces, and even running through the sprinklers!
Watershed Wonders
6/29 - 7/2 *
This week we’ll dip into our local ponds, creeks, and rivers for hands-on study of the
freshwater plants and animals that live there. We’ll get to scoop things up with nets and
jars, observe them, and make art works about them. We’ll also learn about the amazing
water cycle that keeps us all alive!
We’ve Got the Beat
7/6 - 10
Build your own drums, play rhythm games, and create and play music in an outdoor musical space. This week we’ll learn about all kinds of instruments. We’ll
paint and draw to different styles of recorded music, and we’ll even produce a live musical event of our own!
Everything Clay
7/13 - 17
Ready to play in the clay? This week we’ll learn to make clay pots and sculptures of all
shapes and sizes. We’ll create hanging chimes, bird baths, clay critters, and even cereal
bowls! Beginners are welcome.
Let’s Get Moving!
7/20 - 24
Back by popular demand! This is a week of art and moving fun. We’ll move throughout
the day, building flexible strong bodies while exploring the art of pattern batik. From
tumbling, to yoga, to obstacle courses, to relay races, each day will bring physical and
creative adventures.
Program Schedule & Fees
Mon - Fri, 9 am to 3 pm * Early drop off available at 8:30
Full 6 Week Program: $800 (2 monthly payments of $400) Garden City Discount (by 5/1): $750 (2 monthly payments of $375)
Weekly Enrollment (5-day weeks): $150 * Weekly Enrollment (4-day week): $135
