FAMILY FUN COLOR RUN/WALK
Saturday, May 30, 2015, 8:00 A.M.
What: A 3K (1.8 miles) run or walk through Greenbriar neighborhood
Where: Race will start and finish at Greenbriar East Elementary
School, 13006 Point Pleasant Drive, Fairfax. Parking is available in
pool parking lot across from GBE.
WHEN: Please arrive by 7:45 for the Orange Theory Fitness warmup. The race begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.
HOW: Be sure to wear your race day t-shirt or a white shirt. When
you cross the finish line you will be handed a color packet to toss in
the air at the conclusion of the race.
OTHER DETAILS: The race will be held rain or shine; however it
will be canceled if the weather is judged hazardous to the runners’
safety. There will be no refund if the event has to be canceled.
Strollers are welcome. No headphones, dogs, in-line skates,
skateboards, heelys, scooters or bicycles allowed. Water and bananas
will be available at the finish line. Door prizes will be distributed at
the conclusion of the race.
Registration: Registration form is attached. Extra copies can be
found at GBEPTA.org. Registration Fee is $12/person, not to
exceed $45/family. Early Registration fee must be received by May
15th. Late registration is $15/person, not to exceed $60/family. No
registrations accepted on the day of the race. T-shirt pickup will be
held on May 28th and 29th from 4:15 – 7:00pm at GBE.

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in
this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and
appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing the facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself, and anyone else acting on my benefit
waive and release and indemnify the GBE PTA plus all sponsors, their representatives and assignors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation
in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
