BOOTS, CHAPS AND COWBOY HATS 2003 First Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats raised $5,520.50 for the proposed Tom and Barbara Fegan Intensive Care Unit. 2004 Second Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $15,300 to purchase defibrillators for the schools in Geary County. 2005 Third Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $8,100 for pulse oximeters and wheelchairs for schools in Geary County. 2006 Fourth Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $9,013 for asthma education, oral health initiative and healthy lifestyles. 2007 Fifth Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $11,225 for Dixon Center, Spring Valley Elementary and the new JC Middle School – 3 AED’S (Spring Valley, JC Middle & Hauge/Heim) 4 wheelchairs (Spring Valley, Dixon Center, JCMS & Hauge/Heim and 2 pulse oximeters. 2008 Sixth Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $11,836 for Rago Radiology Hologic Discovery Bone Densitometer (DEXA) and the Hologic Digital Mammography Unit. 2009 Seventh Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $11,238 for Practice Management, Hi-Lo Exam Tables. 2010 Eighth Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $18,176 for AlphaCare at Geary Community Hospital. 2011 Ninth Boots, Chaps, and Cowboy Hats raised $15,067 for the Walk A Mile Program and the purchase of a GlideScope for the Surgery Center, ER, and ICU at Geary Community Hospital. 2012 Tenth Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats raised $15,335 for the Geary County Perinatal Coalition’s initiative Delivering Change: Healthy Moms-Healthy Babies. 2013 Eleventh Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats raised $19,000 for enhanced health curriculum, for USD 475 first through fifth grade students, provided by the Kansas Learning Center for Health. 2014 Twelfth Boots, Chaps and Cowboy Hats raised $14,484 for Becoming a Mom Prenatal Education Series.
