Testing the cleaning effect of removal debris and tissues by different files

Method:
• Epoxy cast is placed around the tooth in a tube, in which assures that every slice
that is to be re-mounted will return to its position.( pic. 1)
• Preparation of 13mm tooth in length
• Initial preparation using a manual 0.10 file ( pic. 2 )
• Slicing the tube with tooth into 6 slices of 2mm in thickness (pic.3)
• Photographing all the slices (pic. 4)
• Marking and numbering the slices in order and mounting them on a centralized
device (pic. 5)
• Prepared the teeth with 0.25 NiTi file
• Disassembling and photographing
• Final procedure took place using the Gentlefile
• The slices are taken off the centralized device once more and are photographed
• Results of the 3 teeth (see next slides )
