2015 High School Graduates
TaTiana Bailey graduated from Hampton High School with a 4.13 GPA. She is the daughter of Michelle and Derek
Bailey, Sr. Here at Gethsemane, she is a member of the Scholarship Ministry Program and Dancers of
Grace Praise Dance Ministry. At Hampton, TaTiana was a
member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Her special
awards and recognitions include: National Society of High School Scholars,
Honor Roll for all 4 semesters, Principal’s Coin, and Academic Letter. Her
hobbies are dancing, reading, and spending time with family. TaTiana’s
future goals are to become a neonatal nurse and to open a nursing
facility. She will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University majoring
in Nursing.*
Destiny Lachae’ Chapman graduated from Bethel High School with a 3.07 GPA. She is the daughter of
Lisa Franklin. Here at Gethsemane, she is a member of the Scholarship Ministry Program, Team Surge,
and Youth Greeters. At Bethel, Destiny was a Varsity
Cheerleader and a member of the Varsity Tennis Team. Her special awards
and recognitions include: JROTC Master Sergeant and being accepted into
the summer STEM Program at VUU. Her hobbies are cheering and tennis.
Destiny’s future goal is to become a Dental Hygienist. She will be attending
Virginia Union University majoring in Biology/Pre-Dentistry.*
Xavion Coleman graduated from Bethel High School
with a 2.5 GPA. He is the son of Tamika Coleman. Here at Gethsemane, he is a member of Broken Silence.
At Bethel, Xavion was a member of the Varsity Football Team. His special awards and recognitions are making the
Honor Roll. His hobbies are spending time with family and friends, sports,
and working out. Xavion’s future goal is to become a Psychologist. He will
be attending Virginia State University majoring in Psychology.
Quativia Stevens graduated from Bethel High School with a
2.37 GPA. She is the daughter of Crystal Stevens. Here at
Gethsemane, she is a member of the Scholarship Ministry
Program, Dancers of Grace Praise Dance Ministry, and Team
Surge. Her hobby is dancing. Quativia’s future goal is to
become an Elementary Teacher.*

Aaron Edwards graduated from Bethel High School with a 2.8 GPA. He is the son of Deborah R. Edwards. Here at Gethsemane, he is a member of the Scholarship Ministry
Program. At Bethel, Aaron was a member of the
Varsity Football Team. His special awards and recognitions
include: Second Team All-Conference, Family Career and Community
Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Adidas All-Star Game. His hobbies are
swimming, working out, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Aaron’s future goals are to become a business owner (sports related) and to
be drafted into the NFL. He will be attending Hampton University
majoring in Marketing. *
Melia Miller graduated from Bethel High School with a 3.57 GPA. She is the daughter of Cheryl Miller. Here at
Gethsemane, she is a member of the Scholarship
Ministry Program and the Media Ministry. At Bethel, Melia was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society,
Principal’s Advisory Consulting Team, and a Senior Class Officer. Her
special awards and recognitions include: National Honor Society and Honor Roll for all 4 semesters. Melia’s future goal is to become a Computer and
Information Systems Analyst. She will be attending Old Dominion University majoring in Computer Science.*
David G. Russell graduated from Hampton High School with a 2.5 GPA. He is the son of David and Gisele
Russell. Here at Gethsemane, he is a member of the
Scholarship Ministry Program and Broken Silence. At Hampton, David was a member of the Family Career and
Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). His special awards and
recognitions include: Family Career and Community Leaders of America
(FCCLA) Regional Conference participant – Bronze Medal, Selected as a
Page in the Virginia General Assembly, recipient of the Central Virginia
Undergraduate Mathematics Summer Internship Program. His hobbies are
playing basketball and watching movies. David’s future goal is to become
a Math Teacher. He will be attending Virginia State University majoring in
Math.*

Christopher Howard graduated from Tabb High School with an
Advanced Diploma. He is the son of William and Janet Howard. At Tabb, Christopher was a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team.
His special awards and recognitions are making theHonor Roll. His
hobbies are watching movies, playing piano and video games. His future goal is to become a physician. He will be attending Virginia
Commonwealth University in the fall.
William Howard, III graduated from Tabb High School with an
Advanced Diploma. He is the son of William and Janet Howard. Here
at Gethsemane, He was a member of the choir. At Tabb, William was a member of the Varsity Cross Country Track team, Varsity Indoor/
Outdoor Track team and the Thespians Club. His special awards
and recognitions are making the Honor Roll. His future goal is
International Business and to learn the Arabic Language. He will be attending Virginia
Commonwealth University in the fall.
