The First Ginger Treatment Skin Care Line @GOskinenergy favorite recipes The Ultimate Chewy Ginger Snaps • 2 cups + 2 tbsp all purpose flour • ½ tsp ground cloves • 2 tsp baking soda • 1 tsp ground ginger • 1 tsp cinnamon • ½ tsp salt • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened • 1 cup sugar • ¼ cup dark molasses • 1 egg • ½ cup The Ginger People® Crystallized Ginger, coarsely chopped • ¼ cup turbinado sugar or other coarse sugar for rolling dough Instructions: Preheat oven to 375°F. Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside. Combine softened butter, sugar, molasses and egg. Beat well using a mixer. Stir in crystallized ginger. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Mix well. Form 1-inch balls. Roll in coarse sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 2 dozen cookies. Carrot Ginger Soup •4 tbsp (½ stick) unsalted butter •1 shallot, peeled and minced •1½ tsp ground coriander •4 cup vegetable stock ® •3 tbsp The Ginger People Organic Ginger Juice •1½ lbs carrots, peeled and thinly sliced •1 large sweet potato, peeled and thinly sliced (optional) •½ cup heavy cream or plain yogurt • Salt, to taste •2 tbsp fresh chives Instructions: Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Add shallot and sprinkle with ground coriander. to boil, reduce heat and simmer, Sauté for 2 minutes, stirring often. Add stock, carrots and sweet potato.
