SECTION 8 - HOME MANUFACTURES
SPECIAL REGULATIONS:
Entries will be accepted on Friday between 2pm & 5pm, Saturday 6.30am and 7.45am.
All cakes must be made not later than the previous day. Cut cakes will not be accepted.
There is no limit to the number of entries in each class. Packet cakes must not be used
unless in Packet Cake classes.
Underlined items may be changed each year.
The Perpetual Trophy sponsored by Supa IGA – Gin Gin will go to the overall winner
in this section.

ICED CAKES
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Entry Fee $1.00 per entry.
Once in the hands of the stewards, exhibits must not be handled without the consent of
the Chief Steward.
No entry can be entered in more than one class.
All exhibits must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor.
Use of manufactured pillows including wine glasses, ribbon, cachous, stamens, floral
tape, fine wire and a minimum amount of silver or gold paints are permitted.
Not permitted is butter cream, or other manufactured materials or wire piercing into
cake.
Entries are to be iced and decorated on fruit cakes unless stated, with the exception of
the Sugar Craft Section.
Judges have the right to pierce cakes for foreign matters.
Baseboard must have small legs or runners for ease of handling.
FREE INGREDIENTS!! If you would like to enter in the iced cake section, the Gin Gin Chaplaincy can
offer all ingredients FREE for cake and Icing etc, the entry then becomes the property of the Gin Gin
