The third annual UNCF Mayor's Masked Ball in
Newark is the organization’s signature fundraising
event and one of greater Newark’s premier social
soirées.
This year's event will be hosted by the Honorable Ras
J. Baraka, mayor of the City of Newark, and a variety
of corporate sponsors, local businesses, dignitaries,
alumni and others who support UNCF’s mission of
investing in America’s future by getting students to
and through college.
WHO
Corporations and community groups are invited to
support the fundraising event with the purchase of
sponsor packages ranging from $5,000 to $40,000.
Sponsor benefit packages include elegant dining for
your guests, recognition at the event and in related
advertising and promotional materials. Individual
tickets are available for $350.

Masked Ball. It is a signature fundraising event in support of students attending UNCFmember colleges and universities and nearly 900 other colleges across America. The ball
is scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Newark Club.
The festive evening of elegance and magic will feature national celebrity guests, elected
officials, public and private sector leaders, dining, dancing, live entertainment and the VIP
Masked Award Gathering, honoring local UNCF supporters who by their generosity have
provided hope and opportunity to deserving minority youth.
You will be joining a preeminent group of corporations, civic groups and individuals by
participating in the third annual Newark UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball at one of our top

UNCF’s Mayor’s Masked Ball series includes highly anticipated events conducted in
cities around the country and is now a signature event for the Newark UNCF office. The
work of our local Newark office is critical and helps to provide support to the more than
864 students from New Jersey who currently attend UNCF-member institutions. As the
nation’s economy continues to rebound while college costs continue to soar, students
attending UNCF institutions need our support more than ever. Your participation in events
