This intensive program encourages faster skill progression. Registration is open to all returning members 6 years of age and up and returning 4 & 5 year olds who have completed Stage 1. New members must be six years of age or older. Each Stage incorporates the ‘ABC’s’ of skating - skills focusing on the fundamental movements of ‘Agility’, ‘Balance’, and ‘Control’. HELMET POLICY Our Coaching Team Skate Canada clubs and skating schools who offer a CanSkate program must ensure ALL CANSKATE and ADULT CANSKATE skaters up to and including Stage 5 MUST wear a CSA APPROVED HOCKEY HELMET while on the ice. Our Skate Canada certified professional coaches are fun and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing quality skating programs for children. Active for Life / Rec Figure Skate Teen/Adult skaters learn in group lesson format, skating skills from beginner to recreational figure skating. Rec Figure skaters continue to develop figure skating skills in group or private lesson format in a fun, recreational and safe environment. Skaters/Parents are welcome to use the Club computer to register during office hours. See website for instructions or contact the Club Administrator to schedule a training session on the system. Registration, Payment and Refunds     86.00 64.00 20.40  MANDATORY FOR ALL SKATERS: 2014-15 Skate Canada member fee (Sep 1-Aug 31) $32.70 GSC Skater development fee (per registration) 5.00 Registrations are processed on a first come, first served basis. Advance registration is offered to Skaters registered in the previous school. Late registrations are accepted on a pro-rated basis if space permits. GSC may change or cancel sessions or ice time depending on registration and to accommodate special events or other emergency situations. The skating calendar for scheduled cancellations is posted on the GSC website and bulletin board. Payment: Visa/Mastercard on-line, or cheque, cash, debit, Visa/ MasterCard at the Club Office. Full payment is due within 1 week of registration or before the session start, whichever is earlier or the Skater may be unregistered. A $25 administration fee is applied to all returned cheques. Email [email protected] to cancel your registration up to 1 week before the start date of the school (Fall, Winter, Summer). There are NO REFUNDS of registration fees after this date. There are no refunds, substitutions or make-ups for missed lessons. Registration fees ONLY (not Skate Canada member or GSC Skater development fees) will be refunded within 3 weeks less a $25 administration fee.
