Product introduction
10/100M Fast Ethernet Media Converter, relies on its unique function of optical-electricity LFA (Link
Failure Alert) to realize the extension of LAN Ethernet. Ethernet Media Converter achieves the
interconversion of 10/100Base-TX UTP Cable electrical signal with 100Base-FX optic cable. It extends the
network transmission range from 100m, the limit of copper Cable, to 120Km on fiber. It adopts Store and
Forward mode or Cut-Through mode to realize the data transmission between network connection media of
optical fiber and electricity. It supports optical transmission under single-fiber , dual-fiber single mode and
multi mode.

Introduction
4x 10/100Mbps TP ports + 2X 100Mbps SFP fiber Ethernet switch. The TP ports can auto-detect
10/100Mbps, Half/Full duplex and MDI/MDI-X of the connecting devices. Two queues and up to
1522 bytes packet length is supported. Transferring according to the priority in ToS of IP in the

Description
HHD Series provides one 100M optical fiber ports and two 10/100M UTP ports. The two UTP
ports can be support VLAN, and works as backup.
HHD Series complies with IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3x standards, it is designed to
convert data signal between 10/100Base-Tx and 100Bas-Fx Fast Ethernet. It can transmit the
traditional 100M up to 2km by multimode fiber cable or 120km by single mode fiber cable.
The compact size can be mounted in our 14/16 slots rack chassis.
