This year camp is all about
“getting wet” in God’s word –
everything from the chapel stories
to the outrageous games!
To the thirsty I will give water without
cost from the spring of the water of life.
New Camp Start Day:
Camp Chapel:
This year we will be starting camp
on Sunday evening. This provides
a transportation day that interferes
less with many parents work
schedules, prevents very early
morning loading & driving times,
and allows the kids to spend an
evening getting to know their
counselors & cabin mates prior to
a busy first day of camp activities.
Our camp chapels will be
exciting events filled with awesome
worship, dynamic drama, and
relevant teaching. We will “dive”
into some awesome Bible stories
that will involve water and teach us
about the true living water that God
has for His children.
Daily Camp Schedule Includes:
Chapel (with camp songs) and
Cabin Devotional Time, 3 Meals
and 2 Snacks, Rotating Activity
Options: Pedal Boats, Fishing,
Swimming (Beach and Pool)
Waterslide / Blob / Diving Boards,
Crafts, Putt Putt Golf, Climbing
Wall, Scavenger Hunt, Nature Hike
(1st-4th Grades), Zipline (5th-7th
Grades), Animal Barn, Hayrides,
Science Guy, Experiments and
Games: Basketball, Gaga Ball,
Volleyball,
Soccer,
Foosball,
Carpetball, Cornhole). Evening
Events: Camp Fire and Smores,
Luau Celebration, Ice Cream,
Popcorn, and Pizza Parties.
In all the events, our goal is to
help children be able to
experience God and His Word,
discover His plan for their life,
and understand what
He can do through them.
Just for Fun:
Back by popular demand. Tuesday
and Wednesday will be deemed
Crazy Hair Day and Crazy Outfit
Day. Winners receive a fun award!
Camp Divisions:
To effectively provide the best age
appropriate camp experience for
your child we have divided our
campers into two camps: 1st - 4th
Graders and 5th - 7th Graders.
These two camps are in essence
two separate camps going on at
the same time, on the same
grounds but with their own rotating
schedule, chapel times & cabins.
Camp Location:
We are again returning to
Scioto Hills Christian Camp,
Wheelersburg, Ohio. It is one of
the best camp facilities in the state.
