“Presidents Message”
Hi Golfers,
It’s almost Spring and that means golf and lots of it. Your Committee has planned a
memorable season and will again offer a cornucopia of golf events - on the Island,
away, weekday, and weekend. We will be posting the complete Schedule to our
website (www.golfforsingleadults.com) and publishing in our Newsletter very soon.
You can get a preview on Tuesday, March 24th at our first General Meeting. Join us
at the Sweet Hollow Diner on Rte. 110 in Melville at 6:30 for the season’s details.
Our 2015 Kickoff will be Sunday, April 26th at Heatherwood Golf Course. Get the
details in our Newsletter, on the GFSA Website, or in person March 24th.

We are actively seeking new members. Please invite your friends to join.

Wednesday Golf
There will be 18 holes of golf on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. For
May it will be May 6th and May 20. We will be playing at Bethpage Golf Course.
We will meet at 11 AM near the Pro Shop and sign in together. Interested players
need to call or email by Sunday evening for Wednesday play.

Saturday Golf
Lu Soguero has offered to organize 18 Holes of Golf each Saturday for GFSA
members during the Golf Season at different area courses. Tee Times would begin
about 1PM to get the best rate. An email will be sent out each week to the group.
Interested players need to call or email by Tuesday evening for Saturday play.

NOTE: If a reservation is made on your behalf and you do not cancel 24/48 hours
