Format
Maximum Index Allowed = 33.2
Minimum Age = 16
Championship Flight
54 hole Stroke Play. The field will be cut to top 50% plus ties after 36 holes. Your index must be 7.0 or less to qualify for
the championship flight. If you do not have an index number you may play in the championship flight by providing a letter
from your PGA golf professional or College Coach. stating your ability to play in the championship flight. You may be
placed at the end of the field.
Net Flight
Your low index of the last twelve months will be used to determine handicaps. Handicap adjustments may be made prior
to the tournament per section 8-4 of the USGA Handicap System Manual. Entries must include your 7-digit index number
on your entry form for handicap and pairing purposes. Flight will be determined depending on the number of entries
received.
Senior Net Flight
Minimum age is 50 to compete in this flight. The low index of the last twelve months will be used to determine handicaps.
Handicap adjustments may be made prior to the tournament per section 8-4 of the USGA Handicap System Manual.
Entries must include your 7-digit index number on your entry form for handicap and pairing purposes.
Pairings
Championship Flight: Day 1 pairings are based on index. Day 2 pairings will be reversed. Cut round pairings are based
on score with the lowest score teeing off last. Tee times will be emailed for “cut” round.
Net Flights: Day 1 pairings are based on index. Day 2 pairings will be reversed.
Spectators and Caddies
Spectators and caddies at least 13 years old are permitted.
Deadline
Entries must be received by Thursday July 2 nd. Refund requests must be made in writing and received by Monday July 7 th
2015.
Tee Times and Results
Tee times will be posted on Tuesday, July 7th. Results will be posted on Monday, July 13th . www.golf.lacity.org
Scoring
Players shall exchange score cards with another player in the same group. Do not score your own card. Addition errors
will not result in disqualification. Scorecards must be sign by the scorer and the player.
Awards
Trophies and merchandise certificates or gift cards will be awarded. Trophies will be awarded for low gross in the
championship flight and low net in the handicap flights. Merchandise certificates can currently be redeemable at Griffith
Park or Sepulveda pro shops. L.A. City gift cards can be redeemed for green fees, cart fees, and range balls (selected
locations) at any L.A. City golf course.
Electric Carts
Carts are optional and shall be rented prior to teeing off.
Rain
In the event that the tournament is interrupted by rain, we will not reschedule. No partial rounds will be counted and the
tournament will revert to the last 18 holes completed. A refund of green fees only will be processed.

Any check not honored by the bank will be charged $35.00 handling fee if redeemed within 30 days. After 30 days it will be subject to a fee equal to
three (3) times the original amount. Said fee shall not be less than $100 nor more than $500.
