Payment is due on or before each Monday (Payable to Goodpasture Christian School) Registration Deadline Friday 05/15/2015 Week 1 and Week 6 are the two four-day weeks cost will be $115.00 each. The Payment for those two weeks will be due on or before each Tuesday.) The weekly fee does not include the cost of fieldtrips and some special events. Fieldtrip money will be paid for in cash each week. No matter how many days a child actually attends, parents or legal guardians are responsible for full payment of each session selected on registration form. $25.00 Late Fee on applications received AFTER Friday 05/15/2015 Completed registration forms may be turned in to either the elementary office or the lower middle school office. Goodpasture Christian School Cougar Cub Summer Camp 2015 Camp Hours Monday – Friday 7 am – 6 pm (regular program hours are 9 am – 4 pm) Staff Paula Leibfritz will direct the Cougar Cub Camp for 2015. Paula is a full time faculty members at Goodpasture. She will be assisted by a staff of excellent counselors who will care for small groups determined by the age of the campers. Registration The summer camp registration form must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. To properly determine the number of campers and counselors required, the registration form must be returned by Friday, May 15 2015. A $25.00 late fee will be charged on any application received after May 15th. Eligibility To be eligible to attend, campers must be currently enrolled at Goodpasture in grades PreK 3 through students entering the 6th grade. Campers must be completely potty trained before attending summer camp. Required Items Each day, campers must bring: a mid-morning snack and drink; a lunch and drink; and a clearly labelled, filled water bottle that campers can easily open and close on their own. Goodpasture provides an afternoon snack and drink each day. Camp Fees Parents are responsible for full payment of each session selected on the registration form. Due to the necessity of acquiring adequate staff members, and blocking an opening for another potential camper, there will be no refunds for campers unable to attend. Should your child need to attend additional weeks not checked on the registration form, you must contact Paula in advance to check for availability of space. The fees for Cougar Cub Summer Camp 2015 will be $145.00 per week. Field Trips and other special oncampus activities are not included in the weekly cost. Full payment is due on or before each Monday the camper is scheduled to attend; should the week begin on a Tuesday, payment is due on or before Tuesday. A late fee of $5.00 will be assessed if payment is not received by Wednesday. A late fee of $5.00 per minute will also be assessed for any camper who is not picked up by 6:00 pm. Cougar Cub Camp will cost $85.00 on weeks that campers attend part-day specialty camps held on Goodpasture’s campus. Dress Code Campers should dress comfortably for summer activities. Foot wear needs to be athletic shoes or closed-toe shoes that have a heel strap. Clothing needs to be t-shirts and modest length shorts. (NO ) flip-flops, midriff shirts, halter tops or tank tops. Special Activities Ages PreK – kindergarten NEVER leave campus. Field trips, swimming, and other special activities will be announced as they are scheduled. These activities will take place during the regular program hours (9 am – 4 pm). The fees for these extra activities are not built in to the weekly camp fee. On scheduled swimming days, flip flops may be worn to the pool. Campers must wear modest swimming apparel; girl’s midriffs must be covered. Discipline While summer camp is a more relaxed atmosphere, it is important that proper discipline be maintained. Deliberate or consistent discipline problems will result in dismissal from summer camp. In the event that all camp slots are not filled, students who do not attend Goodpasture Christian School may apply for summer camp. [email protected] GOODPASTURE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Sign-In / Sign-Out Procedures Upon arrival, campers must be signed in and left in the care of a staff member. Parents should leave written notice regarding special needs for the day or changes in regular dismissal procedures. Each afternoon, the person authorized to pick up the child MUST sign the child out. This is for the child’s protection. There will be no exceptions made to this policy, and identification may be required.
