May 4, 2015 Dear Families, Our Spring Book Fair will be held May 11th-15th and we’re looking forward to seeing you there. Your child will be visiting our Book Fair with his or her class and students will have the opportunity to purchase books at that time. The Book Fair will be open Monday-Thursday 8:00-3:30 and Friday 8:001:00. I have attached a Book List for you to preview with your child. This is only a small sampling of all the great books available at our Fair. We would love for you to come and make your selections in person. Should you decide to visit the Fair during the school day, please be sure to check in at the front office when you arrive, and consider visiting during your child’s lunch or recess time. Mark your calendar for Family Fun Night on Tuesday, May 12th. The Fair will be open from 5:00-7:30 PM. Additionally, there will be an Art Show with student artwork on display in the hallways, and a sweet treat to enjoy after shopping at the Fair. (There will not be a dinner event.) It is sure to be a night of fun for all GP families! You will have the opportunity to help increase your child’s classroom library with the Classroom Wish List program. Look for our Classroom Wish List display when you arrive at the Fair. Donating books to classrooms is a great way to help our students have access to the books they love. When you visit our Book Fair and participate in the related programs, you’ll enjoy all of the excitement knowing that the proceeds will help us to continue the Visiting Authors Program at our school, as well as to purchase more library books for our students.
