2nd Annual Swinging with the Stars
on Saturday, May 02, 2015.
This is your invitation to support a fun and worthwhile evening of dance
by being a corporate sponsor!
What is “Swinging with the Stars”?
The event, based on the popular television show “Dancing with the Stars”, pairs
professional dance instructors from Grande Prairie with local celebrities and personalities.
After guests enjoy an elegant meal, an entertaining evening of dance competition takes
place.
Guests can cheer on the dancers, vote for their favorite teams and enjoy performances by
local dance troupes. Judges will critique the dance teams and award trophies to our
dedicated dancers. The night concludes with a dance for our guests, where they can show
their own moves on the dance floor. Last year’s sold out event received rave reviews and
raised over $87,000 for our community!!
In order to continue supporting our community we need your help. Your sponsorship will
assist us in creating sustainable programs and resources in our region.
Our vision: Expert end-of-life care will be available when needed in our community.
What does GPHPCS do?
 Assist clients and families in financial need,
 Promote education of health care professionals and volunteers who deliver end-oflife care,
 Work to increase awareness of hospice palliative care in our community and region,
 Advocate for end-of-life care resources in our community and region.

Swinging With the Stars
Raises over $87,000!
Based on the popular television show “Dancing with the
Stars”, we paired professional dance instructors from
Grande Prairie with community celebrities. After and
elegant meal the fun began with a dance competition. Our
panel of judges critiqued the dance teams. This sold out
event not only raised funds for GPHPCS but awareness
about end-of-life care in our region.
