for Future Engineers
OUR GOAL is to promote engineering education by exposing high school
students to engineering design, modeling, problem solving & teamwork.

The program will help participants
(high school students grades 9-12)
decide if engineering is something
they want to pursue in college.
Use engineering
concepts & tools
while working in
teams.
Be challenged to
solve real-life
multi-faceted
problems.
Taught by UM-Flint
engineering
faculty & staff.

CAMPS OVERVIEW & EXPECTATIONS
— DAY 1 —

Presentations by UM-Flint Engineering Faculty.
Product design & development process,
Computer aided design, modeling, & rapid prototyping.
Participants will develop mini-projects & work in teams.
— DAY 2 —
­
Introduction to 3D printing & manufacturing processes
using computerized numerical control (CNC).
Design, manufacture, & build products.
